The ranks of the Valkyrie continue to swell daily, with more and more rookie pilots launching into New Eden all the time. However, many of these newcomers (and indeed more experienced players) are missing out on some of the finest Valkyrie action you can have outside your headset.
Our official EVE: Valkyrie forums are where our amazing player community hangs out and there are several compelling reasons why you should head over and sign up to the forums immediately.
Meet New People
The forums are buzzing with the opinions of pilots who have already signed up. It’s a place where you can share your experiences in the game, as well as find out about upcoming developments and speculation about what players want from Valkyrie. Which brings us onto the next point...
Have Your Say
Far from being a place to simply hang out with other pilots, the forums play a significant and important role in the ongoing development of EVE: Valkyrie. Members of the development team, including Lead Game Designer Andrew Willans (aka CCP Roo) keep a close eye on community comments, answering players’ questions where possible and taking suggestion on how they can improve features in subsequent updates. It’s possible that an idea you have could make it into the game. CCP Roo discusses this in our recently published article.
Become a Better Pilot
Well, yes, actually playing the game is probably the best way to get better at Valkyrie, but you will be amazed at how friendly and helpful the Valkyrie community can be. Via the forums, you can discover what New Eden’s finest pilots have been up to and exchange hints and tips with other flyers. Being active in the community will literally lead you to becoming a better player.
Upcoming Events
Our players are passionate about EVE: Valkyrie and that's why the pilot community is so active in arranging events. Whenever there’s a major official event - like the upcoming EVE Fanfest 2017 - you can be sure there will be pilots arranging spin-off events, like pub meets or meals to get some face-to-face time with their online buddies. Keep one eye on the forums and you’re sure to be alerted to the coolest events going on locally and around the world.
If you haven’t done so already, get yourself over to the forums and sign up. We can’t wait to see you making your voice heard.
Fly safe!
