Intrepid pilots - all good things come to an end, even to the immortal Valkyries. Today, we have begun the process of discontinuing support for EVE: Valkyrie to focus CCP Games' efforts and resources on new developments in our evolving portfolio of EVE Universe titles.

We are incredibly proud of what we accomplished with EVE: Valkyrie and its Warzone expansion and want to extend our deep appreciation to all our players for their support throughout the game's lifecycle. It is an honor to have been a part of such a dedicated community.

For the time being, you won't see any effect if you own a copy of the game. The game will continue to be playable with our servers remaining active until August 5th 2022.

On August 5th 2022, EVE: Valkyrie's servers will be turned off, social media profiles will be closed, and this website will go offline. Once servers are deactivated, customer support for EVE: Valkyrie will no longer be provided.

Thank you for being a part of EVE: Valkyrie. We look forward to the next chapter in the EVE Universe and hope you'll be a part of it and continue the journey with us.

EVE: Valkyrie: Some New Year’s Resolutions

We are on the cusp of a new year. So much anticipation. So much possibility! It’s at this time of year that many people like to reflect on their behaviour over the previous 12 months and vow to make a few adjustments for the better. It’s a fine sentiment, so we thought we might do the same and ask you, our beloved pilots, to do likewise.

So as 2016 draws to a close, rather than promising to give up smoking, promise instead to start ‘smoking’ as many enemy craft as possible. Rather than trying to shed a few pounds, shed a few pounds of explosives on your nemeses.

To get you started here are a few of our own resolutions for the new year.

  1. I must remember to not spend more time attempting to position myself ‘precisely’ in the centre of my cockpit, than actually playing the game.

  2. It’s not all about me. I intend to work with my fellow pilots and not keep every kill for myself (...it is about me in the end, though).

  3. Other pilots are people too. I must stop gloating when I win. (Difficulty level: 9/10)

  4. I am an older Valkyrie pilot with a family. My prolific swearing at abnormally high decibel levels must stop.

  5. I am new to Valkyrie and can’t help rushing into multi-player battles like an over-excited puppy only to make a complete ass of myself. I must work my way through the tutorials and Recall missions.

You get the idea, right? Post us your own intentions for the new year (intentions that you have no intention of sticking to... sorry, breaking) over on the forums.

Happy New Year Pilots!
