This morning, the EVE Vegas team awoke to the terrible news surrounding the Mandalay Bay attack that occurred on the Las Vegas strip last night.
First and foremost, we would like to offer our deepest sympathies and condolences to the families and friends of those lost during this senseless act of violence, and wish a speedy recovery to those who were injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected.
We’re also aware that quite a few EVE Vegas attendees have already arrived in Las Vegas, and we hope that all capsuleers who are already in the city are safe and well.
In times like these, it’s important for communities to rally together and find strength by supporting each other. We’ve had many questions over the course of the last few hours about EVE Vegas, whether it will go ahead, be postponed, or cancelled entirely.
We’d like to assure all attendees that EVE Vegas 2017 will go ahead as planned, and the schedule will not be interrupted by the events that occurred last night.
We do however advise all EVE Vegas attendees to make sure that they adequately prepare in advance for travel delays, and that they allow additional time in their travel schedule in case of additional security in public spaces and at various transport hubs in the Las Vegas area.
